Easter was wonderful! We had a fun egg hunt at the crack of dawn, followed by golden rod eggs (a goodwin tradition for generations) with Oma & Opa and the Olsens'. Then we watched the new Bee Movie on DVD and took a quiet time. Church is at 2:40pm so we have a long time to get ready yet are NEVER ready on time! I took pics of all of the kids looking so gorgeous in their Easter duds! We went to church and enjoyed hearing the lessons and messages prepared for us that day. We came home and had lots of cooking to do so Oma & Opa and Heidi came over to help before dinner (they are ALWAYS so good to us)and the Olsen family were over also without Barb & Megan who were stuck in Chicago due to bad weather. We had a delicious Easter dinner of Honey Pecan Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes, Asparagus, Salad, Rolls, Strawberries (thanks Brett!), and Coconut Cream Pie (thanks Costco!---I wish I made pies like my Nan). It was YUMMY!!!!! Everyone had a great time and the kids played and ran around like crazy people! A perfect holiday (but we missed seeing the Harmon clan!) with good food, family and friends!!!!!
