He Loves Me with all of his HEART...

Egg art is an ongoing thing around here! We have a pic of a couple of eggs cracked into a bowl that made a smiley face when we were making crepes once, framed on our kitchen wall. Tawna liked it so much we framed a duplicate print for her kitchen wall! On Saturday morning Kevin was making ham/cheese and egg bagel sandwiches for breakfast and he made the egg on mine shaped like this! He really does love me...

Good Job Maddie Girl...

Madison was sooooo excited to bring home a math test with an A on it!!! She stuggles a bit in math, as do Kaitlin and I so I completely understand, but she got an A!!!! Great job!!! I am so very proud of you sweetie!!! :)

Partners in Crime...

Okay, so not always crime, but sometimes! At least they're getting along right? Lauren and Emmy are buds, except when Lauren is bossy and wants whatever Emmy has, then it's a different story. Emmy can hold her own though!

Daron's Arrow of Light...

Daron received his Arrow of Light award this month in scouts and also advanced into boy scouting from cub scouts!!! He earned many badges and awards that he worked VERY hard on!!! He earned his religious knot as well... Here are some of the pics from the awards ceremony and before when Kevin was helping get him all ready! He got to have Kevin and I there and Oma, and also his Grandpa & Grandma Eilertson and Aunt Ashley with baby Jessica! He was a happy boy indeed! Thanks to KAitlin who watched Emmy and Lauren so we could attend kids free!!! :) We are so proud of you Daron!!!!!

Talented Kaitlin...

Again, some of these are last years, but I wanted to add them before filing. Kaitlin is in Art as an elective now that she's in junior high and is LOVING it! She has done lots of drawings already and I'll have her bring home her portfolio and add them all on her blog for family to see. She is such a great artist and has serious talent for it! She also is a great story writer and I love to read and see what she comes up with!

And Daron Writes...

Some of these are from last year, but I don't remember putting them on here for my journal... so when I came accross them before I stick them in my file I am posting and we get to have them now!!! Daron is sooooo creative and loves to draw and write. He's going to love Art class next year! A couple of kids in his class love his drawings and have asked him to draw specific things for them. This really made his day!

The House That Maddie Built...

I love her words about our house! I am glad amongst some (okay... a lot) of the loud people, screaming and fighting on occasion and corner time, our house and Shane & Erins house are places she feels LOVE!!!! We do love our kids! If we didn't there wouldn't be any rules or yelling, because we wouldn't care what they were doing or about molding them into good people, right!?!?!?
