Grannys Box Arrived!!!!!

Granny said a box was coming and the little girls were so excited!  After the cute pillowcases she made while here in September for Halloween, we were anxiosly awaiting them for Thanksgiving!  She did not disappoint!  All of the kids got awesome cases, each with their own special touches.  She also made the best dresses EVER for Lauren & Emmy for church!  They even came with a mini tin of Altoids in the pocket of each dress!  Granny knows our girls for sure...

Halloween 2011...

For Halloween this year we got to celebrate 2 different nights!  We had the Harvest Ball & Trunk or Treat at the church the Saturday before and then the actual Trick or Treating in the neighborhood the night of.  At the ward party the kids had a great time walking trunk to trunk getting gobs of candy, then we went in and had a yummy tri-tip dinner, and then a band played for a dance!  Everyone had a fun time!  Then Halloween night some of our good friends cam over for dinner and introduced us to some really good pizza here in town!  We walked the 'hood together with the little kids, while the bigger kids manned the candy at our front door, then we switched.  They all got WAYYYYYYY too much candy, and we ended up with more than we started with.  It was a good year!

Pumpkin Patch...

Laurens birthday fell on the Monday before Halloween.  We went to the pumpkin patch and let each kid pick a pumpkin out.  They all had a great time (sans kaitlin who was @volleyball), but especially Lauren!

Being with these AWESOME kids makes being a Mom fun!!!!!  I sure love each of them more than they could ever know!  :)  Thanks to my family for making the day so special.  Thanks to my Mom for being a great example of what a Mom should be and preparing me for my job!  I love her and know how lucky I was to get her as my mom!!!  My sisters are all SUCH great moms as well and I learn stuff from them all of the time!  Thank you to all of the MOMS in my life and my kids lives!!!  :)

Maddie Turns 10!!!!!!!!!

Maddie turned 10!!!!  She decided she wanted a party with friends with yummy food and games!  So, she invited 5 of her friends, helped plan what they wanted to eat and what they could play.  Dinner was Pizza and bread sticksthere were lots of snacks (way too many probably!) and instead of cake she wanted brownie ice cream sundaes!!!  They played hide and seek for hours, jumped on the tramp and played games out there, drew pictures and created fasion designs I believe and finished out the night with some karaoke!  I can't believe she's 10... it really does go by fast.  She is the sweetest kid ever and I LOVE having her as my daughter!  She is such a talented soccer player an becoming a fantastic artist!!!  We love her so much and are proud of her every day!!!!  :)

Easter Dresses!!!!

Believe it or not we got these great, smiley shots of the girls AFTER church even!!!!!  They looked beautiful and church was a wonderful reminder of what Easter is really all about. 

Easter Egg Decorating and Hunting...

 We just had the two little girls for Easter this year and it was quiet, but fun!  Emmy finally got to help a bit and realized she could do everything Lauren was doing, so that made it special!  I love watching them grow up and be so excited about things!!!  That's one of the best things about having kids and watching them as they experience all the fun stuff in life!!!
