Too Funny... I love our Maddie!

Family Pics... Oh what fun! And, Another Birthday!

Okay, so first if all we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE our Maddie girl and she's really not as far away from us as you think in this candid shot by Granny... Lauren just move out of her position leaving Maddie stranded on the left end of the couch by her lonesome for a brief moment! Big issue of the day was our "precious, sweet, Emmy!" She didn't want to be on the couch she wanted to run free and we were the jerks stopping her!!! All in all it was a great time and we had the whole Harmon clan with branches of Mowers, Goodwins, Armstrongs, Harmon the III's, and Jarvis' all in attendance! I'm sure we will be so pleased with the finished product in a week or so!!! Thank you to Aimee Hill, an amazing chick!!! In other news... today is my sweeties birthday and we are having a fun family day. He was supposed to be out of town on business and scheduled the trip not knowing that today was a school holiday. When we figured that out it was too late to change unless we wanted to spend a small fortune (which we did not!), so we took him to the airport last night after a dinner to celebrate early. We got all the way back to QC and he called and said due to storms in CA where he was flying into, they had to bump about 30 passengers to make weight. They were compensating passengers who would volunteer to fly the next night instead!!! So, he got his b-day wish to stay an extra day before the trip at US Airways cost! They gave him a voucher that pays for an entire different trip too... see, even the cheesy prayers work sometimes!

Just Hanging...

Today was particularly warm and Emmy was feeling a lot better, so the girls had a picnic lunch outside...

Kevin screwed this ladder and slide onto the trampoline so that the little kids could climb up and slide down !!! He's so awesome about stuff like that...

Our grass is coming in even though we didn't seed until a week after Thanksgiving due to just moving in!!! Sometimes it's good to be in AZ!!!!

We are excited for Kaitlin and Daron to come home on Tuesday night and have missed them MUCHO!!!!!! The kids will go back to school this week and life will go back to routine... :)

New Years Eve...

Jade, Jeff & the boys came over to ring in the new year with us Goodwins! We had Olive Garden for dinner, ice cream for dessert, and played games and watched a movie. We all did the count down and had Martinellis (sp?) and crashed around 1am!!!! Lauren had fun playing with her cousins and made us all food in her pink kitchen while we played WII and kicked each others butts in SPEED SLICE!!!!

Poor Emmy was SICK, SICK, SICK!!! She had the stomach flu from that day through Sunday and had a rough 3 days. Kevin and I took turns just holding her and basically did nothing else. She is feeling a little better, but is still kinda cranky!

Christmas Break Happenings...

PRESENTS......

After all of the unwrapping...

Miss Kaitlin... got a new cell phone and service, a DS game (that I luv and played for at least 4 hours that day), brown boots, converse, brown slip-ons, 6 shirts, 1 jacket, 1 scarf, 2 really cute pairs of jeans, a blanket from her Grandma E., make-up... and so on!!!!

Maddie Girl... got 6 shirts, 2 cute pairs of jeans, brown boots, a scarf, hot pink and turquoise plaid slip-ons, brown & gold slip-ons, a DS game, razor scooter and really cute jewelry!!!

Lauren Pearl... got play food and pots and pans with utensils for her play kitchen, a new baby doll that eats and opens & closes her eyes, and sleeps, and laughs and cries, a grandma and brother for her little family set, and a table and chairs set for her dollhouse !!!!

D-Dog.... got a TON of clothes because he's had a huge growth spurt and was out of everything, a CD player/stereo for his room, a new CD, a watch, a blanket from Grandma E., and I can't remember what else....?

Emmy girl... (Squishy) got a baby and a stroller, an outdoor swing, and a princess ball pit/castle that was so cheesy that we took it back!!! She loved xmas!!!

I'm not sure she's very nice to the baby, but she's trying!!!




The Goodwin kids also got a trampoline, WII Resort, and the oldest 4 got tickets to Disneyland in February!!!!

This is what it looked like when we came down Chrsitmas morning... Santa must have come!!! (BTW... I luvvvvvv my tree this year and it's my favorite of all so far in my years of having my own tree! I am seriously considering copying it next year!)



There were special envelopes on the tree for 4 of the kids...

Christmas Eve Before Bed...

We stayed up wrapping ALL of the presents before we could go to bed... I was tired of wrapping so I started decorating the boxes instead!!! I think they were cute and Kevin just laughed at me...

We bought these curtains 3 years ago and have never had the chance to hang them anywhere yet... YEAH!!!! I do love them... and the VERY TIRED EYE CANDY in the background!!!!
