Dangerously Fun Dinner Party!!!...

Kevin was definitly in his element the weekend of his birthday while hosting a Teppanyaki style dinner party! He prepared awesome fried rice, yummy fresh veggies including zuchinni, mushrooms & onions, Steak, Terriyaki Chicken, Lobster, Shrimp and Scallops for our group of 12 people without a hitch! I love his love of cooking and entertaining. We make a great team and have fun with it :) I was so glad he was able to have his new grill just in time for this get together. It was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO yummy Babe!

We made paper place mats that also served as place cards, with the guests Japanese names at the top and their english names down the left side... it was a fun touch ...

kevin strung all of the lights and lanterns ahead of time and then due to forcasted rain he improvised by building a ginormous plastic tent overhead to keep the party outside where we wanted it:)

Kevins 37th... !!!

Well, another year, another birthday! Kevin had a good birthday this year complete with work, scouts, the farmers market, Darons basketball game and a home cooked dinner of Roast/Potatoes/Carrots and Gravy, because it's a favorite of his! It was hard to celebrate on a wednesday as it's the busiest day of the week around here, but he felt loved I think! Happy Birthday to my favorite person in the world!

CTR...

Well, a new year brings a new primary theme and this year it's Choose The Right (CTR)... So, they passed out new rings to each child this past week. The girls love these rings and we love what it stands for in our home and the lives of our kids! I am happy to serve in primary with wonderful people and these sweet kids! I am teaching maddies class now, so 10 thru 12 years olds! :) It's been fun so far!

Glad we finally got ell of the kids new bikes! They love to be outside and hanging out with eachother and friends :) We take bike rides down to the school and play on the playground and basketball and we have fun together...

Goodwin Christmas 2011...

Well, Christmas was amazing for the kids this year! They were excited to see each present as they opened them and also see what eachother got as they were opened! We love them and love to spoil them and are so thankful for a Daddy who works so hard to make life so nice for our family! :) The family gifts this year included a new xbox and kinnect, new bikes, and a few games for the Wii/xbox... The kids got lots of clothes, new coats, boots, etc..... Maddie got a skateboard and art stuff, Kaitlin got a really nice camera :) and Daron got a fancy nice watch!
