We stayed in CA for Thanksgiving this year and it was a pretty quiet day! Kevin loves to cook and did pretty much everything except the potatoes and corn I believe... with the help of the kids! Kaitlin got to help with the turkey! She was super excited!!! Well, maybe not, but she did a great job assisting and learned a few things! Daron helped with the brocolli & tomato salad and did fantastic... and Maddie helped play with the terrorists !!! It was a little too quiet for me not being able to see extended family for the first year in a long time... but I did LOVE that we got to spend it with all of our kids in our home!

Looks like a very nice dinner. We've had a few on our own and it's not all bad. Let's face it, good food, great family time and no work or school. What could be better? We did miss you all a lot this year though. Just saying…
