Trick or Treating...

Thanks for taking the kids trick or treating Oma... Maddie and Lauren liked riding on the electrical scooter and Daron had fun riding his scooter beside you all! Lots of candy...YUMMMMM!

Kaitlin got to go to her friend Anastasia's Halloween party and trick or treatinf with all her friends at the party too. Then she ran into Emily and went with her family for a bit. She must ne having fun cuz she's still out there partying!!!

45th Ward Halloween Block Party...

Papa's ward has been having this block party the Wednesday before Halloween since I was a kid and we have always gone. Now we take our kids and go! Everyone meets up at Papa's and we all go together and we have a blast. This year was no different and we all had so much fun together!!! They had pizza, corn dogs, nachos and burritos for dinner so everybody got something they liked. Then there was snow cones and cotton candy and lots of games. There were 2 different big boucers and a train and it was rough getting Lauren off of those items, as you can see from the picture below, she through many tantrums that night. But, all in all it was worth it! Thank to Granny for the tickets for the kids. That was really sweet Granny!

Pumpkin Painting Party...

For FHE on Monday night we had a painting party with the Mowers! It was fun and crazy too! Here are ALL of the pics...

Faith's was a cat and they were going to add on the ears and tail at home. Good job Faith and great idea...original! Sorry Tawna, I guess I didn't get a picture of Chances' pumpkin afterall. I don't know what happened, but I can vouch it was great!

Madison started out with a red pumpkin and she drew a full moon with a witch flying thru it, but she wanted to change it, so we painted it white and made a ghost instead.

Kaitlin did a face that looked like a member of the Happy Monster Band on Disney! I thought it turned out really cute and she is so creative and artistic.

Daron's pumpkin was very different indeedy! He is also very talented in the art department! His reminds me of a scary ninja!

Lauren's Family Party...

Well, Lauren's family birthday BBQ was a lot of fun! We had the bubble machine going and a whiffle ball game of course, basketballs, a football being tossed and a bunch of kids running around having a great time! She had an awesome 3rd birthday. Granny made a yummy chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, Grandma H. made potato salad, Jade made baked beans & Nana's yummy homemade fresh Salsa, Summer made texas potatoes and we all prepared our own meat to BBQ.
